Honestly, this whole season has frustrated me but I told myself I will let it play out before going crazy ha. I might get angry and say some crazy stuff to my fellow Cat fans, but I do try to hold some hope until the final buzzer.

A good leader delegates authority. Assistants are hired by Pope to help in recruiting, player development, game planning and strategy, etc. As such, they have a role in helping to assemble the team. Pope may have final say, but I'm guessing he hired them because he trusts them, and therefore he's going to have faith in guys that they really want on board.
