It was NOT any reflection on Aberdeen whatsoever.
    Gotcha.

I’m just giving Aberdeen 20 minutes instead of 10. That’s the basis of leaving Johnson off and going 9 deep instead of 10 deep.

I’d rather have my Senior national champ out there instead of a Freshman.

So to be clear, I am not cutting Aberdeen’s minutes. I would cut Chandler’s before Aberdeen’s at this point.

I might even consider going to an 8-man rotation and giving Aberdeen Chandler’s minutes and giving him starter minutes.

But I do think if Chandler can get his shot going again, he could be a nice weapon off the bench for us.

I’m not really down on Johnson as much as I am betting on the veterans over a rookie.

In that sense, I agree. I think Denzel's contributions are necessary and are definitely appreciated on my end, even though he does tend to play a little selfish at times. Still, though, his minutes SHOULD be elevated, I agree. Until Lowe is healthy enough to garner the lion's share of minutes, I think his and DA's should be split pretty evenly...or close to it.

I just hope I can still remember the players names when they play again. Hate this looong stretch.

If they are healthy and conditioned when play resumes I suppose it’s worth it.

It’s become pretty obvious that the best five (JLowe, OO, KWill, Mo D, and JQ) need to start and play most of the game.

Heard this on a podcast (Aaron Torres, I believe): the best five played a total of 1 minute together Saturday.

That is obviously not going to cut it.

If Lowe can play 27 minutes then he should start and play 30+.

          Same for the other 4.

Give the next 4 or 5 guys 5-10 minutes a game.

That gives us our best chance. I don’t know if that’s enough against good teams.

One of the more frustrating things this year (at least to me) has been the countless line up combinations and minute distribution. It was pretty clear that this wasn't the deep team we were sold on all summer early into the season.

              Agreed.

Pope needs to get the best five on the floor together.

I initially thought that mixing and matching lineups could work and let our depth be a weapon, but it is becoming increasingly clear that the depth isn’t as advertised.

The top five probably need 30+ a game the way it is looking.

And the ball has to move.
