I wouldn't expect it to change anytime soon. I do not know for how long, but off the top of my head we are locked in for: champions classic, cbs classic, sec/acc challenge, ul, iu, and zaga.

Florida has like 4 losses now. Are they ready to throw in the towel and fire the Coach?

Still, I get where you are coming from too. Difference between our losses and Florida's losses is they could have won any of those games, 3 of our games we looked like a AAU team.

I think it's interesting how so many people (not just on here) are now saying how flawed the roster construction was. I didn't hear much, if any of that before the season. I don't think the issue of the way we've played in the games against better competition is the construction of the roster outside of the fact we've been missing 2-3 starters or players that would play significant minutes.

It's pretty easy to be critical in hindsight.

Conversely, I remember some questioning of the lack of a bona fide Leader, Star Player type.

I remember some questioning who was going to be the shooters for Pope's 35 3 pointers per game.

People liked the pieces he brought in.

I also remember people wondering aloud if he was ever going to nab a high level recruit NOT from Kentucky and being pissed that he whiffed on so many of the higher level Transfer Portal dudes.

People also questioned the lack of that go to type dude.

I reckon we remember what serves our interests to remember a bit of the time and, sometimes, we remember only that which we've heard in our own little bubbles.

All the way back to Coach Rupp days we have played a tough December (now starts in November) schedule. And, obviously that was before the $$$$$$ of television. While some were neutral sites a lot were home-home. Gets you ready for the grind.

I read widely. I seek information. I try to run away from confirmation bias. It's how I knew that Cal was on his downslide before anyone else started to talk about it. Same thing with Tubby. You can see patterns if you are looking or if you care to look. Most don't care. Most want to be curried and want to be told what to think especially when it comes to Kentucky Basketball.

I don't really care the exact source. It's either verifiable or it's not.

I'm just saying that almost everyone thought this was a top 10 team before the season. Now that there are several bad losses, you have people crawling out of the woodwork claiming they knew the team wasn't good from the beginning.

I, for one thought they'd be a great team. And I still think they can be. I'm not interested in telling everyone I know better than they do.
