I hope each and every player on this team has the opportunity to watch this video and look themselves in the mirror....

Especially Oweh, this is what they really think about you next level. Still, I think he can turn his season around by getting after it on both ends and slashing to the rim..

Not sure if anyone noticed last game but Oweh took a practice in the corner after Aberdeen missed him wide open in the corner as if to say, I was open.

With all the other problems we have, I don't think Oweh and Aberdeen play very well together at all. Reports of girlfriend problems etc but I sense Oweh and Aberdeen have a problem, just my opinion.

I can't recall any time in UK history where social media was absolutely ripping UK a new one as much as they are now. Almost seems like overkill ...like they're beating a dead horse into the ground and piling on for good measure. I definitely understand it, but there wasn't this much bad press and negative publicity after the Cats lost to Oakland and it was painfully obvious that Cal needed to go

I tend to agree, especially from UK people. You got guys like Issel and Mashburn calling out the team. KSR went nuclear after the Zaga loss. UK fans will always be a crazy, but this is one of the only times I remember our own media/alum going after a current team like this. We're at the point where the criticism either causes them to pack it up for the year, or they pull up their pants and get to work.

That may be at this point. I maintain that most of the problem is related to the coach recruiting them here with promises of stardom and playing for a title contender. He then forces them to run an offensive system that not a single one of them is suited to run. He continues to force it with 2 games that showed they CAN’T run it because none of them can shoot. IMO the current malaise is about 75% Pope's doing. The new players have come to the realization that 1 they aren't going to be stars
2 they aren't going to be contending for a title.
          3. And most important they will continue to look like bums all season because the coach can't figure out the problem. A bit of a morale problem for the team, maybe?
Also they get to hear every goober in Kentucky and in press tell them they are worthless scumbags for the next 20 years. Some of those LUNATICS over on RR are even spreading rumors they are point shaving and committing crimes. That certainly helps

With all due respect, I can't remember a time where a team paid 22 million for a bunch of role players that absolutely packed it up and went home once those checks started coming in lol lol..

This is where we need the emoji signs back on the site lol lol

FWIW, in the future, forgive my not so smart smart phone for auto correcting leaving out words and making up sh$$ as it goes while posting lol lol

I wonder how much money Mashburn even Issel may have contributed in NIL funds?

Issel owns a farm here in my county and sometimes I run across him eating lunch at the steakhouse next to my business. Took me a few years but finally was able to get on speaking terms with him. Didn't hurt that Mike Casey was my neighbor for years and that helped break the ice for Mr. Issel warmi g up to me. If I see Dan, I am going to ask him straight up.

I'm not certain what this matters.

Probably why he has a opinion and is vocal about it,dude wants a refund on his investment..

If nothing else, maybe he can write it off as a loss on his taxes

Or he's one of the greatest Kentucky Basketball players of all time and doesn't like seeing the Cats get smashed as has been the case this season.

                      Very True..

If Pope was on the outside looking in like the rest of us, he would be mad as hell himself watching this team, no doubt he loves Kentucky basketball perhaps as much as any of us here.

That is the catch 22, go wild and crazy on a guy who loves it as much or more than us or kick him to the curb and say sorry about your luck??

Ball is in his court, he knows how it is, know what's at stake.

He can either flop out and be a blip on the radar or turn this around and have the greatest coaching season of his life, it's up to him..

Right not I think he has to weed out the bad apples and still find a way to win with what he has..

Would not surprise me to see a few transfers by the end of this year...
