That's the thing in this day and age (and even the past several years). It ain't about the name on the front of the jersey anymore to 90% of these guys. When you shell out as much as UK did for this roster you can't really expect them to care as much about the program as they would otherwise.

I am sorry, but Pope got this all going with his cryptic comments after the ul game. Now he is saying the only issue is they started their prep too early? I am rooting for the guy, but come on.

We will really need to wait for Dec 2nd vs unc to see. They can sleepwalk past teams like Loyal MD and Tenn Tech with just individual skills.

Sounds like no Lowe or Mo tomorrow night. Pope with Mo it is always up in the air as he is his own animal type of statement. But then followed with we cant do that anymore. I guess mens sports is different than womens sports or athletes. UK women tweak an ankle and do not miss any time, UK volleyball tweaks an ankle in a big game and the player missed a set and was back out there helping their team win.

I liked Goose Givens comments I read and I'll just summarize:
oweh is thinking AFTER he gets a pass. Last year he had his mind made up before he got it.
Defense overall is awful. That has to be fixed.
Garrison has to step up or give up his minutes to Moreno and someone that contributes.
Although every coach wants to work players in Pope has literally had 70 combinations on the floor...the longest for less than 10 minutes. When he starts substituting all cohesion goes in the trash can.
