Is there a problem with one or more players on this team that is causing problems in the locker room and with the team ? Maybe it is just me but I seem to think Pope was close to saying something last night after the loss ? What are your thoughts ?

Not sure but here is an interview after the game, not the press conference.

Do we have another Rondo Sparks situation?
Rumor is Oweh took Dioubate's girl, now that's a problem.
This thing will expose itself one way or another😞 1Comment

I was wondering if beating Purdue badly gave the team some idea that they were really good or is this NIL causing the team not to have enough pride in playing for KENTUCKY ? Just trying to figure this out after getting beat . Last night was really disheartening to watch.

What ever it is I am going to wait till after the holidays to watch live I do believe. I just do not want to invest time into a program if there is a cancer of a situation going on. If the antidote kills the cancer then fine I will be back on watching live. For now, I have womens volleyball and basketball that I can watch. Both are teams and play their hearts out.Proverbs 25:24👍 1Comment

That game meant nothing to Purdue other than getting in some reps. Play that game now when it means something, and UK loses by 20+.I was wondering if beating Purdue badly gave the team some idea that they were really good or is this NIL causing the team not to have enough pride in playing for KENTUCKY ? I’m not going to point fingers at specific players just based on hearsay, but yes, I do believe something is happening with this team behind the scenes more than just getting off to a slow start and losing a couple of games. There’s just too much smoke between Pope’s vague, but distinctly odd comments about locker room happenings and ESPN reporters commenting about bench confrontations for there not to be some kind of tension brewing.
It shows on the court too. We aren’t just losing, we’re getting completely dominated for long stretches of games because we have almost zero team chemistry, with guys repeatedly running out of position due to a lack of communication on defense and the offensive execution not being much better. I don’t know exactly who is to blame, but it’s going to be a very long season if we can’t either get them to work it out or if need be remove the problem(s) soon.👍 2Comment

I don't care.
These are paid athletes.
If there are personality problems, they need to suck it up.
They're getting paid now.
I don't get to pick and choose with whom I'll work where I'm employed. I can't stand several of the morons with whom I work. I suck that ish up and get the job done.
Why?
I'm paid to produce results not win a freakin' popularity contest or love everyone.

If there truly is a bad apple or two, maybe 3, kick them all off the team
I can accept a bad season and support a coach who stood his ground..
It's still a privilege to play basketball at Kentucky, don't forget it.

I don't want to to hear "They’re college kids”.
They ain't!
They’re paid pros now.
NIL isn’t a teddy bear and warm nap—it’s a contract.
I don’t care about vibes, bench drama, or rumor smoke.
Get on the floor, produce, and cash the check. Beat cupcakes? Cute. Fold vs real teams? That’s failure—full stop.
We lived through Team Turmoil 2001–02; not interested in a sequel. Don’t sell me “chemistry” or “feelings.” Sell me wins.
Hug it out, tape it up, and move the $#%@ on.“I love people as individuals, but I hate people in groups.”
