I'm glad for them, but women's basketball is one sport I just can't watch. I like many, many other women's sports - some better than the men's versions. But I find basketball all but unwatchable.

I'm thinking Pirdue believed their Kentucky game was exhibition and Kentucky thought it was final four.

This tram is terribly disappointing right now. I'm not certain Pope knows how to get them together.

I am typically that way but Brooks actually has a team getting better and better each game so far. They are switching, blocking 3 attempts and such. Just not high flying.

Wish I knew so I could tell ya, but unfortunately I'm waiting for someone to share that bit of information myself.

                    I'm guessing this.

I asked Google, and this is the response I got:

"Kentucky basketball's already thin lineup took another major hit Tuesday night against Michigan State when starting forward Mo Dioubate suffered what appeared to be a rolled ankle with 5:03 left in the game."

I did see this, but he left for the locker room but almost immediately turned around and headed back to the bench before he ever reached the locker room, so I'm guessing it wasn't that bad. Fingers crossed anyway.

Dioubate fell over a MSU player and twisted his ankle. He limped off the floor and didn't come back in the game. The game was almost over. He did end the game on the bench.

I hadn't seen that many airballs in one game since Shaq was shooting free throws with the Lakers.

I’m not calling for anyone’s head or anything, but as of today, this looks like a poorly coached basketball team with no chemistry.

We have several guys who seem to be out for themselves. Being down by 20 in both games against P4 opponents is concerning.

There’s a lot of season left, so hopefully this team starts to resemble a team capable of beating non-cupcakes.

Pope at a loss for words after the game. Pretty much did not answer the questions. He would answer a question with something like "That would be a long answer" or "I am taking the hit here" or "I am going to temper my words". Said he is the failure so far this season but not for much longer. To me reading between the lines he is letting the millionaire players run the roost. Problem is Pope is now coaching professional paid players (yes he makes more) but he is trying to do it nicely and they up till now have not listened. (tempering his words to the public).

If it were me I would put in Van Horn, Tow and some others to start next game and tell my guys you do not want to listen, fine you are not going to play. You might have to burn the locker room down to make the point and do it for a half against Suck U team. I see no urgency (did not watch past 9 minute mark so there is that) but what I saw made me think we had Cal on the sidelines just not the yelling part.

Even Oweh did not have much insight on why he is not playing hard. Just I have to play hard and I have not so far.

Far from it on my end. I bought into the hype this summer like most and i was fooled.

Pope is just going to have to figure it out and as fan, I just have to accept this team has a whole lot of work and growing to do.

I think overall the talent is here( still no high profile game changer) but this is literally a day one starting from scratch type of situation, nobody is on the same page it seems.

I am into just make the tournament mode and hope the Purdue squad can somehow show up again..
