I feel like UK will win this one. I think it will be relatively low scoring with not a lot of three pointers - especially by Michigan St. With Lowe out, UK needs to limit the turnovers. UK also needs to win the rebounding battle. If those happen, I think we win by 7. I'll say 67-60.

If Cal was still coaching us, I'd reverse that prediction.

I agree it will be low scoring. I watched a little of MSU vs. Arky, and they seemed like a physical team with some decent length. This is a game the Cats REALLY need to hit their FTs.

I'm not sure that this team feels/felt entitled or like anybody was handing them a trophy. They were ranked 9th and not even picked to win the SEC. Nobody was treating them like it was 1996 or 2012.

All summer long this team was hyped up as one of the best in years.

Define nobody, the 20 to 40 people here or the rest of the Big Blue Nation with post after post after post leading up to this season right now???

Besides the 15 team that almost went undefeated, this team roster and coach had people feeling as good as they have felt in almost a decade.

Now you spin down play it call it what you want but the expectations of this Team has been freaking huge, still is really and why wouldn't it be? You have a so called coaching x's and o's guru, one of the best teams money can buy, depth at all positions, upperclassmen, returning player of the year candidate, what more could you want? Really, can it get any better?

This season will tell all. Is Pope really ready for the big time and do you still need that one maybe two all world collegiate talent to get over the hump? I like Pope but at some point he needs to land a real 5 star to mix into all this, maybe JQ comes back and settles that this year.
