    Eastern and Central Time

Back in the Claude Sullivan and Cawood Ledford days, during the broadcasts when the next game was announced, they always told you the game would tip or kickoff at, for example, at 8 PM Eastern/7PM Central because both of them realized that Kentucky is in both time zones and therefore their affiliates are is in two time zones…I can’t remember if Ralph did that also but I don’t remember. I know, and he is very good but Tom Leach never does and I think out of respect for the entire Commonwealth he should. When the SEC seasons start, the vast majority are Central starts because only 5 schools in the league are located in Eastern time- Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina and Georgia. Only Georgia and South Carolina’s states are entirely in the Eastern.

Eastern time rules tv for some reason. I’m in MT time so it makes no difference to me.

Yeah, a lot of things that were once common courtesy are no longer all that common. Same with common sense.

One is an hour ahead of the other and the other is an hour behind the other.

I used to have to watch it in Afghan time. Look that one up.

Watched games in China, Egypt, Thailand, Cambodia, Kuwait, Dubai, Germany and several other places.

I just kinda did the math myself but I'm super cool like that. lol
