    DEEP BREATHS

They is some folks out there who need to stop, take a few deep breaths and calm the #### down. lol

    Holy Mother of God!

Stop hyperventilating and let the season play out a little before the sky falls in on you.

I so agree. Not happy about the injuries or any team turmoil that might be taking place. But Jeez! It’s only the middle of November ?????

I agree it’s best to let the season play out, but there have been some early issues that I’m betting most were not expecting with this team. Hopefully they can go out and take it to sparty next week.

I still think this team can do some great things.

I can't be upset when something happens that I pretty much foresaw and more or less predicted would happen. Loserville is a good team, it was at their place, and they were due. I'm not happy about it, but I'm not really all that upset. Before the season started I figured we'd lose one, and maybe two of the big out of conference games before the SEC schedule began. I hoped UofL would be a win, but wasn't really surprised that it wasn't. I was actually pretty pleased with how they fought back and made a game of it. Last year when they got trounced by Ohio State in New York they more or less threw in the towel and rolled over early on....so it was nice to see them bring the final outcome into question with a couple minutes left.

And pace, bite our nails, and on occasion, may let a bad word slip out ?

As bad as I hate to admit it, some of us UK fans are our own worst enemy.

I have watched a few other teams this year and it seems most teams are organized with a identity, i don't see that yet with our group...

It took me a long time to realize you can't put much stock or faith into a 18-22 year old, you just don't know what you are going to get..

My days of my mood swinging based on college kids winning and losing a game have been over for some time now. I want us to win, I'm bummed when we don't, but I go about my life if we lose. I even (gasp) miss a game here or there because I have other things going on in life.

I haven't really understood why people expected to come out of the gate like gang busters. Other than Lowe none of these guys we brought in were stars. They were good players for good teams but that's it. JQ had tons of potential but he hasn't played yet. Aberdeen looks like he is going to be the star of this team. Lowe is hurt, Oweh walked around in a boot all summer only got out of it the week that practice started. Jelavick got here late and is still adjusting to play in US. The team lost to a top 10 team in its first road game and many fans are screaming like infants demanding a bottle .
IMO there is a small but very vocal segment of fans that didn't want Mark Pope hired and have never accepted it. They were muted last year by him working near miracles with last years team This year with overinflated expectations and early injuries have given them opportunity to vent thier prodigious spleen and they are taking it to the limit.

I used to get really upset and get in bad moods over a loss. I get over them now right after the final horn and it's been that way for quite a few years now.

I still have that old school delusional mentality that we as a college basketball program are just going to run through college basketball near perfect record dominating each and every school when in reality, I just want to win 6 in a row when it counts. With NIL and all that stuff that goes on off and on the court these days, it's a little naive to think to think those old school ways still exist.

The small letdown so far into this early season is from all the summer talk and hype about how good we are when we never even played the first game. I still think this is a great team and will dominate but it may take a little bit of time provided there isn't some off court drama going on behind closed doors that we are not aware of.

I always say we are never as good as people say we are when we are playing well and never as bad as people say we are when we lose a game.

Tonight's game against MSU, no expectations at all.
