One UK player from last years team

Which UK player from last year would YOU ADD TO THIS YEARS TEAM and why
earlier I thought either Kobi Brea or Andrew Carr..After last nites fiasco i think i would pick Lamont butler. Our point guard situation may not be as stable as i first believed.

Butler. Better perimeter D. But mostly, he's that leader that we need now, that we may very well have, but hasn't emerged yet.

Amari Williams until or if JQ plays. We need somebody to pass out of that funky point center set Pope runs. Plus he usually went back in paint afterward, something Garrison often doesn't. I have no doubt JQ wants to play but him getting his knee stable enough to see the floor is Not a given. Set backs are common with ACL tears on a 9 month timeline. Its safer to take a full year. I hope it works out but I wouldn't be shocked if it didnt

Brea, because we need a reliable 3 point shooter.

Williams. We recruited that Louisville center from BYU, and I can see why. He’s a heck of a passer from the arc. We just don’t have someone to play that role on this year’s team, imho.

Brea maybe Butler but in all reality, it's still very early, i like this team. The Louisville game doesn't paint the whole picture of who we really are in my opinion. Once the rotations are set and we get to clicking on all cylinders, I still think we are that team.

                    Probably Brea. Maybe even Robinson.

Butler was a steady hand, Lowe could get there and might have the higher ceiling.

I do think eventually Jelavic will break out and could be better than Carr.

Enjoyed Williams last year. But that would be putting another guy out there that can’t shoot. We’d get zoned to death.

I think UK is good. Getting completely healthy and having all pieces in place will show what UK is. I still think they could be a final four type of team. Need some consistency in the shooting and a big guy who can actually defend (come on down Mr. Quaintance) and you'll see a team that by Mid-February will be very dangerous. I do worry about the brutality of the schedule. Still have St. John's, Michigan State, Indiana, Gonzaga, and North Carolina before Christmas.

Yeah, I was looking at the schedule and Dec is going be a tough one. 6 games, and I imagine 4 of them will be vs. ranked teams (unc, Zaga, iu, and St. Johns). Will be battle tested for the SEC, just hope it doesn't cause anymore wear and tear on the guys.

Conference play will be no joke, either. At Alabama to open conference play, Tennessee x2, Florida x2, at Auburn.
