    Favorite UK vs. ul games

There have been some good ones. The 2012 FF is obviously a special one.

My personal favorite is the 2014 S16 game. I was still living in Lou, and the smack talk among UK/ul friends was intense. They were convinced they were going right back to the FF, and would mop UK. I remember jumping out of my seat when Randle found Harrison for the 3. I didn't hear a peep from ul fans for a good bit afterwards.

    Go Cats, beat Louisville!

Rex's freshman year and then also 2014 where Montrezl tried to trip WCS. The the Louisville players were flopping all over the court. You could tell Pitino was over matched and told his team to flop out of desperation.

WCS was a bad man in some of those games. Poor Chris Jones is still in a coma.

We made them look like clowns. Or they made themselves look that way, rather. Also, I think that was Montrezl's last game before he was thrown out of school. Pitino kept him on the team just long enough to play against us.

Definitely the 2014 Sweet 16 game. In 2012, we EXPECTED to win and there wasn't so much joy in beating a team you're favored against. It was just relief at avoiding a loss we'd hear about until the end of days. In 2014, however, they thought they were going places and THEY expected to win. They led late. We broke their heart. And it was just an incredible game (all those 2014 games were). Runner up is the Dec 04 game just for all the WHINING we got to hear for so long. Loved Dec 2010 when Jorts went beast mode.

Hard to believe it's been 21 years, but Dec. 2004 when Sparks got hammered at the last second, went up to the line and drained the free-throws to seal the victory.

We had lost the previous two games to UL and we have NEVER lost 3 in a row to them. That game was just an unreal performance by one of my favorite teams.

The best part about that was the fact that he took about 12 steps before shooting and the refs didn't call it!

They were tiny shuffles. They don't count.

I tried to look up those 2012 and 2014 NCAA wins over Louisville others mentioned but I couldn't find them. I did see that the Cats beat some team named Vacated in those two tournaments.

I don't get it. A TV screenshot from the 2019 March Madness tournament where Louisville was a 7 seed and lost to 10 seed Minnesota in the first round???

The"two time champion" notation. True despite their fans whining.
