I have to be honest, it's a breath of fresh air not having a full blown knock down drag out discussion of how players like Chandler, Noah ,Perry, even Johnson Moreno are not UK basketball material.

Not every player is a 5 star rated projected 1st round pick and a good fundamental coach can take a above average talent and utilize strengths and weaknesses as long as the player is committed to hard work and sacrifice.

Furthermore, I have watched some no name 3 star absolutely kill big name schools and players over the years in the Ncaa tournament.

Talent is always a must but a good coach also goes a long ways..

Moreno and Johnson are better than what it seemed during the Boozer Twins classic. The Boozers took every shot so you couldn't tell. Jelavic and Williams seemingly struggling. Everyone else is tearing it up.

Such things are almost always subject to a certain amount of conjecture, but there haven’t been really any suggestions I’m aware of that they forced him out in any way. He reportedly wanted a bigger role on offense and likely also got more NIL money by transferring.

He’s an elite “glue guy” who can defend multiple positions, rebound like crazy, and generally hustle his butt off, but I’m not sure that he quite has the skillset to be an offensive focal point for a contender, so I can somewhat understand why Alabama was hesitant to promise that if it actually was a sticking point.

Aberdeen very smooth and fluid on offense, good pace always under control, great defender too.

Impressed that Lowe seems to have broken that Pittsburgh one man show mentality. He's having fun and it shows.
