Hope we get Lowe back from Valpo so he has a game before playing the Ville.

      Good game over all.

      I was hoping they'd get to 80.

      Even so, good game.

Much better 2nd half. Should be a fun season.

Yes, a player can still redshirt.

Yes, but not once the season starts. The only way now would be to have a season ending injury, and that would have to occur before a predetermined amount of time into the season.

I didn't watch live and haven't seen highlights yet...but I'm going to guess it was one-handed, right-handed. I don't believe I've seen him ever dunk two-handed or with the left hand.

OK, just saw it.... and yep, it was one-handed, right hander. Really nice, though...but predictable.

By the way.... somebody help me out with this one: when did UK fans at Rupp start doing the overly dramatic 'hands on the face, bug-eyed "I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING THAT INCREDIBLE BEFORE IN MY LIFE"' reaction? I've noticed that a few times now on nice, but rather routine plays that we've seen so often that they're really not all that spectacular. I would think it was the latest Gen Z thing, but I'm seeing a lot of middle aged guys doing it. Is that just their attempt to try to get on TV and be a part of the highlights?

Back in the day if it was a larger individual it would have been considered a gorilla dunk. ****************ed it back and posterized a guy. Then the stare down. Sportscenter #1 top play of the day.

First 10 minutes of that game were about as bad as I've seen UK play basketball in a long time. Things got markedly better when Aberdeen came in and steadied the ship and moved Chandler to a more natural position for him. I'm worried Williams is going to be a total no-show, that Garrison hasn't improved, Noah's shooting (which hasn't materialized yet) isn't enough to negate other areas of his game, and our free throw shooting is going to be a problem. However, a healthy JQ and Lowe should completely change everything. The sooner those guys can get back, the better. I think Pope is a good in game coach. He obviously made good adjustments at the half that enabled them to establish a lead and then stretch it out. Hopefully they shoot better and get some chemistry. They have the talent to make this year really fun.
