Injury reports implemented for NCAA Tournament

I wish they would implement this all season. I’m not a gambler and don’t plan to start but it’s nice to have the clarity on injuries the reports provide. Seems simple enough to have the teams submit them Monday and Friday/the day before a game.

I don't like things that are done for gambling reasons. However, if gambling didn't exist, those reports would be a good thing.

The evidence is already starting to mount the amount of money Americans are losing, and the number of people going into debt, as a result of the proliferation of sports gambling. From an individual freedoms perspective I think it’s hard to argue people can’t gamble if they want to. But there’s no reason it needs to be omnipresent, available from your phone, all the time. Having physical locations—casinos and race tracks, for example—seems like a reasonable compromise. But at this point with how much money these gambling companies have pumped into politics and all sports programming, it will take a serious popular revolt to get anything changed.

Gambling has already "ruined" college sports once or twice. It's also rigged the World Series, at least, once.
Also, I think "once" should be spelled "onst".

Yeap, it's because of gambling. The investigation is nowhere near done, another article just popped up on ESPN about it. Wouldn't shock me if some big name programs are found in the investigation.

I despise these reports ,they are solely for gambling. People can choose to gamble as they please but institutional support for an addictive practice that ruins countless lives is something different altogether. As someone who worked treating addictive diseases for 40 years, the average American has NO CONCEPT of the destructive power of addictive gambling.
