Whoever can play lets get them a game plan and make sure they run it and stick to it. Come out ready to go. I want to see defense first. All over the court and playing 110% each and every play. Then we need to see us doing our Mark Pope thing on offense. GO BIG BLUE!!!

It should be a teaching tool. Thing is we did not see any adjustment from the coach as well at half time. Maybe out of options. We did not see Hawthorne or Potter, not even giving them a chance to see if they could change the game at all. Hawthorne probably would have been broke in half with the physicality but at least try something. If nothing else make that statement. If you guys will not play then I will put in Tow, Horn, Potter, Hawthorne plus 1 to play. Someone better step up or you will not play. Nobody really stepped up last night including the coaching staff.

So it better be a learning experience going into the season. UofL is breaking down both tapes and showing their guys, play like Purdue and you will lose, play like GTOWN and blow this team off the court at home.

yeah, GTown was very physical, very aggressive and much more active than the Cats. You could see it in the first couple of minutes and I knew it was not going to be good. It even had an effect on their FT shooting, total lack of concentration.
I'm sure Pope has their attention today.
