    Georgetown Week

Now we have 4 days till the 2nd exhibition game.

GTOWN Won Exhibition Game 1 against GW. 73-64

Williams 20 points, Mack 16 points and Mulready 12 points did the heavy lifting. Everyone else on their team scored at least 1 point, with 6 being the highest total. Gtown outrebounded GW by 5 rebounds. It was a back and forth game one team going on a 5 to 8 point run then the other doing the same thing. They have a pair of 7 footers and a few 69 guys. Then big guards like our team.

Cooley is a good coach. Hopkins is a good player. Not sure about any of the other guys that much. Will be watching come 7pm Thursday night.

Glad this game is on Thursday. After getting 4 hours of sleep last night another night of baseball lined up tonight, Thursday is perfect.

Have been Wildcat fan born and bred since the 70's but also a Dodgers fan. I can't get fully engaged with basketball until the Series is over.

For those who follow baseball, the story line will be Ohtani on base 9 times in a game (are you freaking kidding me) or Freddie October with another walk off. Maybe it's the legend Kershaw with two outs bases loaded 3-2 count out of the jam?

The real story line is a 25 year old kid out of Indiana cut 3 times who started this year in the minors on league minimum salary. A last minute addition to the WS roster due to Vesia's family matter. Klein threw 72 pitches over 4 scoreless innings and was dealing , never threw more than 56 pitches and that was a single A game..

Longest game in World Series history and I was able to witness it. Had LA lost, would have thrown my TV out in the yard...

Unbelievable the Klein story, that is what SPORTS is all about....

It will be interesting to see how Jasper Johnson does. I'm thrilled we have a potential star from Lexington on the team, but I think he might have played a bit above what we'll generally see from him his freshman season. I think his hype blew up a bit more than reality and I hope the pressure doesn't get to him.

                    Pope Gtwon presser.

Sounds like no Lowe and of course no JQ. JQ a bit away says Pope.

Well, just more experience for our backup point guard(s).
is this what they call a silver lining?

what is going on with UK?

Today open practice and no Aberdeen for the scrimmage, out with Lowe JQ and Potter. Nothing stated. It made it 5 on 5 for the short scrimmage. KSR has a play by play description and the winning shot.

The article says Potter sat out because he was the 11th man. Will be interesting to see if Aberdeen plays tonight. Or, if he doesn't, who starts in his place. My guess is Chandler. That would make sense, and in the scrimmage he was the 5th guy on the starter (Blue) team, so it's pretty much a lock.

So Lowe and JQ definitely out. But possibly Aberdeen as well? Without doing an online search, I hadn't even seen anything else about Aberdeen possibly being out except here.
