    THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL

Otega Oweh looks firmly and fully back in health.

Collin Chandler has made great strides.

Malachi Moreno is def more than a role player.

Kam Williams is gonna be great in spots.

Aberdeen and Dioubate are great weapons to have.

Jelavic looks primed and ready to play.

Two dunks by Oweh and Chandler were explosive. Plus that one from Moreno.

Garrison looks improved and more under control without losing aggressiveness.

Noah looks like a whole new person. I think this kid is gonna be prominent role playing - rebounds, steals, defense.

I can't wait to see Lowe and Q.

This team is gonna be good.

I think Final Four is the floor.

I'm definitely excited about this season.

Looks to me that Purdue flagged out. Ran out of fuel.

That's a product of so many bodies being thrown at them.

Pope's 25/26 team is going to be special!

It's great to have Kentucky basketball back!

You are absolutely right blueheretic. Beautiful indeed. Our depth, athleticism, and size is going to be a major problem for opponents. This will be our best team since '15. We smacked the #1 team with the pre-season POY and another All American without our starting PG and JQ.

Very good evaluation. Pretty spot on.

I didn't think I could get any more excited, but last night was beyond exciting. Gonna be a fun season.

          Welcome back old friend!!

I think that was the quietest double digit scoring game Oweh has had since coming here. I was thinking he scored 4-6 points, then I saw the box score. Really a quiet night for our AA.

Perhaps best of all, we did that while running very few set plays (on inbounds I was having Cal deja vu) and enduring some stretches of sloppy play. We looked really good and have plenty of room to improve.

Welp that was an awesome start and a great first glance. Still trying to get over the fact we played a Power 5 team for an exhibition. Part of me is excited to see how this team progresses from here. Jasper looked great, wanna see how he handles an away crowd. Colin, Trent, Oweh, Garrison all looking seasoned and ready. All the new guys look good and seem to fit well. Loved the point distribution. The flip side....is Purdue really the number 1 team in the country??? Were they just rusty?? Were they ready to play??? At least this wasn't Athletes in Action or some low D1 or high D2 school where a blow out would be expected. Hard to say but really impressed with the outcome

We can only hope that Purdue is really good.

Not much to say except we have a TEAM this year. All the pieces in place with a great coach at the helm.

Not sure how it could get much better than this to start the year...

I worked out with a big Purdue fan this morning. He changed the subject quickly

I remember the years of Joe Berry Carroll. He was my favorite non UK player back then. He was a very good college big man.
