The article also stated something about this is not the first injury this year of this type for Lowe. In summer workouts Vaught said he suffered the same injury. This is to me worse news as this can become a chronic issue. I would say JL is like a ticking time bomb. He has now suffered this injury in summer work outs and fall workouts. It might not pop all the way out but the ligaments might not be strong enough to keep the shoulder together. I had a team mate that was a very good football player and played in college as well. He suffered from this. He ended up having to have surgery to fix his issue, but that as well was not a full proof repair and the injury followed through college. Not saying this is 100% the same thing but it is very similar. Basketball is not as rough as football so he might be OK till off season to look at this. But I will be skeptical of his ability to play all the games this season.
Pope better develop his number 2 as if he is number 1 PG and then get #3 ready to be #2 on some nights. We are a deep team but really only have one true PG. The rest are combo guards and several, (Aberdeen, Chandler and Johnson) can be a decent PG this year. Not sure any are a full time PG1 kind of guy.Proverbs 25:24Comment
