I never was a huge fan of them but wearing them on occasion I can handle. There are rumors out that Pope may bring them back this year foe a game or two
Typically I like the traditional look. I hated the greys they wore at Ford Field years ago. The denim was a big risk back then. It worked out. No one fussed too much. Minor stuff here or there. If the team likes it and Pope is into it then I will back it. If I had my druthers we would be in our home whites every game of the year. I think football should go to home whites just to change things up in a horrendous year.
As a matter of fact, football should be in plain white, no blue stripes, nothing on helmets, no names on jerseys. Just blue numbers. Then earn their stripes the rest of the year. Of course that would mean you have to have a coach that can coach.
I've edited my post to delete my comment to the woke idiot that thought he/she/it (how's that?) needed to correct my way of thinking and joking with a fellow forum member.
Fair enough?
But to answer the OP original question....I'm not a big fan of them, only the memories and nostalgia that they're associated with. That said, if they must be brought back....I'm hoping it's for a game or two as a one year tribute to the 30 year anniversary of the '96 team, and not something that we'll see on any kind of a routine basis.
