5 year deals are 1 year then buyout. Pearl led a charmed coaching life and worked a show cause into a final four....at a football factory.

So that means the players are immediately allowed to transfer, right? I don't think I'd want any of the guys off that team, though.

If this had happened after the season in April or May, There's probably a player or two we'd take in a heartbeat, but at this point, we don't have room and are pretty happy with our roster as it is.

IMO, this close to the start of the season has me thinking he has health issues. Something that popped up that needed attention sooner than later.

Don't get me wrong, I don't having any info and I never wish bad on anyone...its just when I heard this, thats what my gut feeling was.
