This isn't a good look for either side.

What in the world. I was expecting something bigger than a few meal plans. In an era of guys getting millions and schools lining sports cars up for recruits, who cares about some guys getting food.

Yeah, this is insanely stupid whether it was the NCAA or the School ruling them ineligible. Make them pay the money back or to a charity and be done with it. Such an insignificant amount of money to be wrecking a kids college basketball career.

Kinda makes Dwight look good. His administrators may be itching to get rid of him. But his players are certainly standing up for him.

The school fired him after he won their conference Tourney and got an NCAA bid. He has a winning record there and they were progressively improving a bit each year. So yeah doesn't make sense.

That is what I meant I should've put that in the title this isn't a good look on the "school or the NCAA". It won't let me change the title. This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever with all the NIL that is flying around.

Meanwhile, Kansas North Carolina UCLA probably Duke been buying Yachts for players for years....

                  The hypocrisy of it all.

Some don't like NIL and I understand why but at the same time, I am glad there's NIL.

Like I have always said. If you can stick me in the mountains at 18 years old in Afghanistan fighting over some PIPELINE control, you should be able to get paid as a a 18 year old college athlete.

Yes. And as I have said many times—if the NCAA had addressed the issue years ago congress would never have gotten involved and it would not be the Wild West now. How long ago did Ed O’Bannon file his lawsuit? The issue was boiling over for years. Everyone knew star athletes would get a share eventually. But the clowns in Indy had to wait for government involvement.

I like NIL because it is all in the open now. No more random duke families popping up in mansions for a year.

                          Amen to that.

I would say that in this new era of college sports, not only do you need a great coach and great recruits, the GM job is now a important element to success.
