People are going to learn the hard way that Jayden Quaintence is not a scorer. He may follow the Amari Williams path of scoring and putting up better than deserved points due to volume number of shots taken rather than ability and efficiency, but people counting on him for offense are setting themselves up for disappointment.

I am counting on him for defense and toughness. Not expecting him to be the first two options in many offensive schemes, but he should be able to get put backs and try to rip the rim off when possible.

I'm expecting (or perhaps, HOPING is the right word) Jayden to play a role similar to that of Amari Williams...only I'm hoping for a little more focus on the defensive end and not as much one-on-one when on offense.

I think he OR Jelavic could be that surprise.

Just really pleased that if either of them—or someone else—proves to have the goods they won’t be made to sit behind someone with more HS ranking stars. I think we’ll see the best version of our team.
