Issel and Davis, not sure about the next two, so many.
Davis was one and done but a generational talent that came and delivered year one, pretty remarkable.
Wall and Mashburn both era players that helped usher in a new era for UK basketball but A. Walker won a title and was dominate.
The old dudes back in the day, wasn't my era so I really don't know the true impact because I didn't live it, same with Issel to be perfectly honest..
I remember the early Sam Bowie years, remember watching him in a game prior to Kentucky, Bowie had it all and then came the injuries. What could have been not only in the NBA, but Kentucky as well.
One thing I will always ponder is what would 3 to 4 years of Cal players had looked like in a UK uniform? The impact, the stats, etc? Better yet, what would 3-4 years of Cal players had looked like with another coach developing and pulling the strings??
SGA, KAT, BOOKER, just to name a few. These are all bona fide real (best in the entire world )type of players that the whole world has to offer.
If Calipari beasts Wisconsin goes 40-0 in the modern era, is KAT on this list???Comment
