I wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured this was as good a place as any to keep it somewhat out of the way.

I replied to the Cal in the rafters thread and got an unapproved label, and the post turned a pink color. What is this indicating? While in disagreement with some in the thread, the post seemed civil enough. Any explanations would be appreciated.

I did copy some stats from AI. Could that be the problem?
The value of time is beyond computation. Life is too short to be trifled away. We have but a few days of probation in which to prepare for eternity.

I approved it for you. I'm pretty sure it was a software glitch...certainly nothing wrong with your post.

We have a few odd little glitches with the site, hopefully they will cease to exist when it's upgraded.

Much appreciated, Matt. I still have a few glitches that I'm hoping will work themselves out. I'd really like to see who's giving who likes and thumbs up, it kinda helps you read the folks that are posting. I'm hovering but still can't see them. Crossing my fingers.

This is odd, because this is a feature that has always worked for me without fail.

You on Chrome? I just hovered over about 30 posts and all the likes and other reactions appeared every time.

          Very odd glitch.

I have yet to be able to see likes on any type of platform- laptop (chrome), iphone, and ipad.

                So weird.

It almost sounds like your permissions to see reactions might be off for some reason.

I'm sure you know this by now, but on iPhone and iPad, you press the reaction and it should come up. That it's not showing at any point for you suggests it might be a permission issue? Super strange.

When you Google this issue along with "vbulletin," you do get a lot of hits about it. However it looks like many of the hits come from around 2023, before vbulletin was updated. So we *should* all be using updated software...which makes me think it might be a permissions glitch.

I wish I knew a little more about the workings of the software to help you out on this.

Usually, things work better on my computer than on my iPhone. However, I can see the reactions on the iPhone while not on my main computer. I thought about monkeying around with things a bit, but when I got here, I had my username and post counts, all that stuff, and didn't want to risk losing all that. I was just hoping it would work itself out.

Is there a place to turn it on and off? If so, I haven't found it yet..

BTW.. what's your thoughts on Billy Clyde... When I see your post, I keep thinking, Damn, that guy looks a lot like BCG, then I realize... THAT IS BCG... lol

I've tried to press down and thought maybe my fingers weren't fingering right, but yeah the cursor doesn't show them either. No big deal either way.

I’m laughing, this is great. If Joneslab ever tries to change it…I will change it back to BCG’s mugshot

This feature has literally never worked for me.

I didn't know if was even a thing you could do until Rick mentioned it a few weeks ago.

I made that avatar for him. What you cant see is the Parental Advisory sticker that I placed in the bottom right corner. It adds a level of danger and badassery that is really lost on the version everyone sees.

Yeah, it is. You need to find a way to make that part viewable. Something was wrong deep down in the guy.. Deep down where the doctors couldn't get.

He was a bad mix of alcoholic and (p)rick.
