“I’ve been progressing pretty well,” Quaintance said while declining to put a timetable on his recovery. “I’ve been trusting the trainers and coaches to try and get me right. Mentally, I’ve just been kind of focusing on the next step and kind of also focusing on the moment.

I never really was too down because that was late in the season. I’d have a lot of time to recover, and dwelling on things doesn’t really help you get better. I was always focused on the next step and trying to build myself and see what I could do to get better faster.”
Watching the highlights video in the article it’s nice to see that we’re getting a guy who brings a lot of size and strength along with the desire to protect the rim. We have been missing that for a little while.

True. And exciting. But I still think Amari could have brought that but was told to stay out of foul trouble due to lack of depth at his spot—particularly after Carr was hobbled. His spot of course being point guard 😜

Should he avg or improve just slightly his numbers from last year will be a big plus.
12 pts, 10 reb and 3 blocks per game would be a significant contribution plus any defensive improvement
