To me he was the perfect college basketball player, regardless of position.

Only UK player ever that could play every single position and have a positive mismatch at every spot. At least offensively.

How do you guard that team?

PF Mash and Center Mash are pulling the big men away from the post with their shooting and just driving past them.

PG, SG, and SF Mash are posting up their man.

Can’t play zone against them, because they are all 39% from 3 and at 6’8 can shoot over everyone.

And everybody can rebound.

Can’t press them, because everyone can handle and pass.

Defense might struggle, but that team is putting up a 100 points every game, so that’s probably not an issue.

Fitch endeared himself to many fans during his freshman year. He'd come off of the bench and start making hustle plays...I loved the guy.

Now Cory Sears might not, but I do.

Yeah, I really liked Gerald Fitch as well. I usually mentioned him when talking about the kind of guys I wanted to see Calipari bring in (and play) more often. Just a really solid and dependable player.... he'd be on my all-time Tubby era team for sure
