Need some knowledge on contracts

Okay folks that are smarter than me (and I know that's a Lotta folks) I'm seeing different types of contracts mentioned for the NBA Cats. I'd like some clarification on the 2 way contracts, those signed by guys like Jaxson and others.

Okay folks that are smarter than me (and I know that's a Lotta folks) I'm seeing different types of contracts mentioned for the NBA Cats. I'd like some clarification on the 2 way contracts, those signed by guys like Jaxson and others.

Two way contracts allow players to split time between the NBA and the G league. It's useful as a developmental tool for organizations, and leaves the door open for the player to make a full time roster.

Perfect opportunity for a good shooter like Jax.

In similar news, the Pelicans waved Antonio Reeves last night, which is odd since he really caught fire at the end of last season. Hopefully another franchise scoops him up.

An Exhibition 10 contract that Robinson received from the Cavs, it is a 1-year, non-guaranteed contract for the minimum salary. Primarily used to bring players like Jaxson into training camp. Teams convert it to a two-way contract or waive the player without taking a hit to the salary cap.
