    Agreed. Wholeheartedly.

My point is that I'm not sure why we should be lumping foreign athletes in with the real immigration issue. Will Lavender summed up my opinion more eloquently above. Seems to be making an already complex problem more difficult to solve.

Do you are what I'm saying?

That's not harming anyone or changing the nature of what it means to be an American (or a citizen of that country), and nobody is under the belief that these players are criminals.

I just don't think the "immigration debate" was ever meant to crack down on this sort of situation. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense unless you're just trying to be symbolic with it.

Now down on the southern border, sure. This is a wildly different type of situation that shouldn't even be applied to that.
This is the last comment I will make on this subject. Lol. There are athletes and students from places like China who come here and can be a potential national security threat. Simply Google the disturbing nature of some of their actions. It only takes one to have a profound, catastrophic impact.

            I don't disagree with this.

One irony about that is that at one point not too long ago, Cal was actively recruiting in China.

I sort of make a distinction between eastern European players, of which there have been many over the last 10 or 15 years, and the rarity of Chinese players. However Kentucky did just recruit a Chinese-born player: Princeton's Xaivian Lee (Google tells me Lee went to high school in Canada).

Really all I care about is we are all UK fans- ethic, religious or political backgrounds etc. do not matter.

Brown is absolutely the real deal. In the 2 games I saw he was clearly the best player out there. Kelsey is a good coach and will definitely coach him up. UL is going to be very good this year unfortunately.

                        As for the big Croatian….

The longer this goes, the less confident I feel about him getting here. I know guys like J. Drummond(great guy btw) claims his sources say to have patience and he will be here in July. So there’s that.

I don’t know much but I do know if politicians are involved , it will get mucked up. Most of them would screw up a 2 car funeral.

Brown is a beast. He is going to be hard to deal with and UofL is going to be better than people are giving them credit for. I have them as a borderline top 10 team and that might be underestimating them.

I know some think it’s blasphemy, but I think they beat us at their place this season. I think it is going to be close regardless of who wins.

They very well might. I also think it will be a tough game and expect the atmosphere at the Yum! center to be way different than it has been lately.
