I believe a lot of things in NIL just boil down to basketball popularity. If you are a business in Kentucky wanting a name or likeness to draw attention, guarantee it'd a basketball player. If you're a business in the other SEC schools it will be football.

I've always thought Kentucky would compete VERY well in NIL in basketball but lag behind other schools in football.

Been a while man, and yea, speaking the truth on raters is strictly forbidden, especially with regard to Calipari. Although I did stroll by and notice all of the ones that made all excuses for him suddenly "see the light" when he decided to take the entire roster to Arkasnas lol. We're lucky the NIL era came in to be honest, he was trying to pull "a calipari" and leave a program in ruin. I like how since he wasn't able to pull of the usual, he "did us a favor" when he left. I love the twist and turns of that guy and the people who follow.

And I absolutely hate the NIL however it stopped him so I guess it had a perk for us.
