I feel like 9 is too low. I know, I know.... it's top 10, and it's pre-season (which means nothing)....but still. I'm OK with being outside of the top 5, but we should be right there knocking on the door of the top 5. 9 is barely inside of the top 10!

I think we end up top 5. I think we will be a 1
or 2 seed in the NCAA tourney.

Here’s my current preseason rankings. I change them from time to time, so this is subject to change. I just do a top 16 and list which region I think they are going to be in. Kind of like a bracketology, but just for the top four seeds of every region.

I just don't see 8 teams better than UK in the country this coming season. This roster from top to bottom is the best in the country and that's without my blue tinted glasses on.

Seems like many are underplaying the departure of Walter Clayton from Florida. Gators will be fine but that 3 headed monster doesn’t come around often, can’t believe Houston couldn’t close it out.

The way too early polls are really an effect from the year that just ended. These folks have only had 1 year of Pope at UK. Pope has a team with talent, depth, shooting, rebounding, defenders, slashers, back cut guys and much more. If they all can get the chemistry right then we will see just how special this team can be in 2026 post season. I for one think we have what it takes to get to the final 4. But heck my view does not matter. Those men working each day in the gym is all that matters. If they believe, if they lift each other up we will see it early.

Exhibition games will not give us the whole story as both team will be trying things out. Games will be fun for sure. Purdue and Gtown will give us a better starting point than North Indiana Fort Wayne Purdue State and Pikeville would give us as Exhibition games.

Need one this decade. We had the 90's missed the 2000 decade, got the teens, need one in the 20s. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!
