Tech beat the cats twice that season--endng the home streak in Jan, 1955.
Vern Hatton played for the cats from the 55/56 season through the great fiddling five ncaaT title team of 58. Hatton had nothing to do with wins or losses during the long 129 game home winning streak. Hatton was playing for Lafayette HS at the time of the mournful loss ending the streak.
