I'll be honest, if we had Cal as coach last season, I was gonna boycott. I'd had enough. Last year was like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. Win or lose, I'd rather have Pope. I couldn't believe our luck when Cal left.

I think a case can be made that post counts are meaningless and shouldn't be shown over there. They tend to obfuscate the conversation sometimes...and in this case, most of the Rafters crew had thousands of posts anyway over there. And also: why should it even matter. Sometimes the person who talks the most has the least to say.

Actually, I agree with this. I've advocated for turning them off before. They just lead to bias and become an impediment to the discussion.

Buddy, we've held this place together with little more than twine, gumption, and Kentucky spirit for years now, but our soul's intact and we treat each other pretty well. We're never getting snatched up and we're never going to charge a dime. Hope all of y'all will stick around no matter what happens.
