Lighthouse UPDATE #2

Thank you all for all your prayers. Here’s what happened. I woke up on the 9th and was so weak I couldn’t get out of bed. Phyllis called EMS and they took me to ER. They diagnosed me with a UTI. They did a C Scan and found a large Mass in my abdomen. On Wednesday the 11th, I had surgery and the mass was removed along with some of my small intestines and some colon. I have been diagnosed with 5 Cell Aggressive Lymphoma. As soon as the surgery heals, I will have the opportunity to start treatment.

This is a first for me but here’s my thoughts, God has chosen this path for me and I pray He will give me the strength to walk it. Either way I am in His Hand and He will either heal me or take me Home to live with Him forever. I pray that each member of this great website, has the same relationship with our Savior. Again, thank you!

This is a first for me but here’s my thoughts, God has chosen this path for me and I pray He will give me the strength to walk it. So glad to see your post this morning! Many of us have been praying for you, sir. Very glad for your testimony and relationship with God but selfishly, I am praying for you to recover and stick around for many years to come. Thankful for you, Lighthouse.

Just spoke to Steve's daughter. He took a turn for the worse Thursday and was put on a ventilator. They are going to take him off of it today or tomorrow and put him on Palliative Care. The doctor said he probably won't last past 24 hours once off the ventilator.

His son should be on here with an update at some point.

I am sorry to bring this news. Sreve means a lot to us here at WCN, and the folks at the tailgates.
