Read this last night....was gonna post but it was getting past my bed time...lok

Sounds like a solid plan...we'llhave to see how it goes. Could also see it going sideways.....but since we're in a new era of CBB I'm sure we're gonna see plenty of things come and go...

No, not really. But that line fits the situation

This wouldn't be announced if they didn't have the votes. I'm curious.

I would like to understand more about the implications of what this is in detail. It reminds me of the old athletics structure of UKAA, which was dissolved several years ago. That wasn't an LLC, though.

It sounds to me like a private equity firm that would help UK do stuff like build that new practice facility, etc.

                    One fact I'll drop here.

UK's CFO is an absolute genius. GENIUS!

Like, I don't think most UK fans get how fantastic and effective UK's executive leadership is right now. The President and EVP are among the very best in the country. Unbelievable leaders, the likes of which the institution has never seen.

                      This is absolutely the truth.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Barnhart hang it up in the next year or two, after these big sweeping changes have been ushered in.

Seems to me...at least initially, its to manage and keep the flow of NIL money for all athletic departments. I can definitely see it all covering the ancillary parts too

Do you find with age you become more of a fan of the songs that marked your life over the artists. I have always been a Stones over Beatles, ZZ over Rush and so forth but still have Beatles songs that hit me, or a Rush song that hits me.

Will schools without football such as Villanova have more funds to offer basketball recruits than schools with football teams?

Actually, I've always been a fan of certain songs more than of the artists themselves. For example, the Beatles are tied with the Platters as my all time favorite groups/artists and remain so today. I like more of their songs than anyone else's. There are lots of groups/artists that I like one or two of their songs and that's it. Having said all that, there are certain songs that resonate with me, that bring back old memories and that define my life.
