Oklahoma Game Thread

Another game, another must-win for Kentucky. Oklahoma's a weird team in that they were unbelievable early, held their own in the first part of the SEC schedule, and then have fallen apart late. However after a five-game losing streak, they rebounded Saturday to beat Mississippi St. And they feature one of the nation's best freshman in Jeremiah Fears. The last time we went into a first-year SEC team's place, they had a freshman who tore us up. Can't have that happen tonight.

Looks like Butler and Robinson are both listed as probable, so that's good. This team really needs this game.

The game is at 9:00 on the SEC Network.

Also: Otega Oweh going against his former team tonight. Really need him to return to form after his first bad game as a Cat.

Oklahoma is feast or famine offensively, which means they will be feast against us.

Gotta guard the three, and hope Butler and Robinson can give us something (anything). Really need to win this one, and I think Pope knows it.

Oweh has his first bad game scoring wise but as you have mentioned and many of us have noticed, this kid literally gets no calls on his way to the rim. Mentally it looked like it just finally took a toll on him from his body language against Alabama.

He should be alright tonight if he doesn't try to do too much being it's against his former team. If the shoe was on the other foot and UK was the former team, he would probably score 45 tonight...

At some point it definitely became mental for Oweh - and that's a combination for disaster: seemingly bad/no calls, nothing falling in the basket, and then overthinking about it.
