Texas was favored tonight, so no, it isn't inexcusable. Sorry for not thinking that the sky is falling when we are missing three of our top eight and another is unhealthy. And, I'm just a dude that sits on my couch and watches the game. Me being concerned, upset, or angry about the game isn't going to do a thing. It's over, we lost, and my life is literally no different than it was two hours ago. It would be the exact same if we won by 90.

If you want to be concerned that we won't beat a tournament team on the road without three of our top eight guys, go for it. I would call it expected.

They are a bad team, and we should beat bad teams. That’s the long and short of it.

You’ve made excuses for every loss. This isn’t surprising. And yeah, I’ll go to work on Monday and won’t be affected, but I still care.

The odds makers seemed to disagree tonight.

This one did feel like stealing defeat from the jaws of victory.

I'm concerned because the unexpected exciting season we have had so far is fun, but the games like tonight we lose because we let them slip away. Dumb fouls and simple mistakes. Standing around. etc.

                Bad finish.
look, Pope doesn't belong the injuries. Bad part of the game we've had it seems 4 seasons worth this year.

Whether we want to admit or not, this could POSSIBLY be who we have the rest of the season.

Year isn't gonna stop. Gonna have to juggle, figure and just throw it out there. None of these other teams are going to feel 'sorry' for us. I don't either.

This is just the hard side of being a fan.

Play on guys. We see what we see.

They’re probably going to miss the tournament. You can’t make this an acceptable loss in any way.

This team cannot play error-prone ball and expect to win.

Winnable game. Unfortunate it wasn’t. This was the first game outside tOSU that with 3 minutes to go I had a bad feeling.

I'll try a different approach to posting to see if I get everyone's approval. Let me know how I do:

This is flat out unacceptable. If Pope wouldn't have played more than six players tonight, the others wouldn't have been able to make the mistakes they did. He called the worst game of his career and I'm starting to question his future here. We should fire Barnhart. I'm honestly going to lose sleep tonight and probably skip the family dinner tomorrow out of fear that my uncle who is a Louisville fan will mention the game or that someone will see my UK license plate on the road. I don't care how many top 15 teams we've beaten this year, we've lost four games we shouldn't have and that's all I can focus on. You aren't a true fan if you aren't ticked off right now, and we deserve better as fans.

I think we should definitely question just how healthy we are going to be able to get. It seems like Kerr is done for the year as there are rumors of wanting to apply for a medical RS. If we at least get Butler and Robinson ready for a run, we have a shot at making some noise. If we don't? I don't think it's fair to trot Pope over to the guillotine for not having a "successful" first season. We aren't going to lose out, so really the only thing that would cause me to be disappointed in this season given the time he had to build a roster and the injuries would be a first round loss in both tournaments.

Oddly enough, the only three losses that Texas has to an unranked team are Ohio State, Arkansas, and Vandy. The rest of their losses are against ranked teams. If they're going to miss the tournament, it turns out all of those wins against top 15 teams that we all discredit because of the losses actually mean something.

Aren't we kind of used to that?

For me, I live in the part of the state that has had 6+ inches of rain in the past 24 hours and projected to get more. Although I wish the Cats had won I'm just glad I was able to get past the road closed barricade on my road and get home.
