    I really want to beat LSU this season.

    For obvious reasons but this Simmons kid is talking some smack and I hope we can put it on them boys.

    "He'd love nothing more than to go into Kentucky and beat them … rather than go to Kentucky and win a championship because that's expected."

    This is how he finishes the article.... "I don't see why we can't be the best team in the SEC," he says. "Kentucky has good players but we have good players, too. It depends what leaders you have, who can lead. Me going to LSU is huge because I have to be a freshman and lead. I could have gone to Kentucky and been one of the other guys just playing there and trying to leave.
    "For me, though, I want to leave a legacy — and that's at LSU."

      Kind of an interesting quote though.

      "...one of the other guys just playing there and trying to leave." It's almost as if he's taking a negative stance on the one-and-done culture. Which is interesting because he's going to be a one-and-done.

      This isn't the first time a player has made comments like that. Duke's Jabari Parker said much the same thing. (And then he left Duke after one year.) I think stuff like that is being fed to the players by opposing coaches.

          I know, thats what cracked me up....unless he is just waaay overrated he will be a one and done too, and most likely would've went straight to the NBA if he could've.

          Pretty much what I got out of it is that he is a "me" kind of person, which is fine, but don't take a stab at a team that was full of "team" players and sacrificed PT and stats for wins.

          Just like Newman, he wants to be a god on campus and that's what he'll be....
