Castle almost certainly. Projected top 5 pick.

And if you watched that guy last night...he's an NBA player. UCONN has a lot of "system" guys, but he ain't one. Superstar.

A guy pointed out on Twitter that when UCONN made the Final Four in 1999, it was their first in school history.

So virtually everything they've done as a program has been through three coaches and in 25 years. It's unreal. Hurley is amazing but what makes it even more amazing probably is that Kevin Ollie is somehow in there too, and a 70-year-old Jim Calhoun.

I don't know how he gets them to play such smart basketball. Sure, they'll make some mistakes but in general they minimize the really stupid ones. I can't imagine them giving up multiple layups/dunks on inbounds plays in one game. If there was an objective way to measure "basketball IQ" they'd be really high on the scale. I was particularly impressed by how they handled Purdue's press. They went straight to where they were supposed to go on the floor, a couple of passes and they were in their half court set. The press didn't bother them in the least and they didn't seem surprised by it.

Yep, beat it every time with absolute ease. And really UCONN plays with no traditional point guard, which makes it more amazing.

Just a super solid basketball team. Not only well-coached, but they wanted it. Played with fire and tenacity virtually all the time.

I put them among the greats I've ever seen in college basketball. '90 UNLV, '96 Kentucky, '07 Florida, '24 UCONN all right there.

2015 Kentucky, 2009 North Carolina, 1994 Arkansas honorable mentions. (These are just the ones I've personally watched.)

That 17-18 Villanova team was something as well. A little overlooked I think.

Also, 2012 Kentucky was closer to being undefeated than some people remember. And didn't play very many close games
