From Matt Jones: the best explaination for a disasterous month

If it was a 7 game series we would of beaten Wisconsin. I have no doubt in that whatsoever. Be that as it may, they outplayed and outcoached us for a well deserved victory. I just think our overall size and talent at the time would of worn them down.

I think Cal is a great coach from a motivating standpoint, but I'm not sure he's one of the better xs and os coaches there is.

Since we only platooned about 20% of the time, Cal isn't much of a recruiter, in my opinion, if he let opposing coaches use this to take recruits away from UK. I agree with Will, and MC, that there were other, more important, factors responsible for for all the recruits UK struck out with.
