We can talk about all the great players Cal landed, missed out on, and the, supposed to be greats, he brought in and shoved down our throats all we want, but the fact still remains he has only brought us 1 title, and that was because of Davis and Gilchrist, not Cal's coaching ability. I remember sitting there on the Super Dome and joining in with many other UK fans, screaming at Cal to let them play when they were running slow ball.

I hope all the kids who have committed for next year actually show up, but we're still going to have Cal. Another AD is not walking through the door.

The F doesn't throw me as much as Gillispie's grade. You could round up 10,000 UK fans and nobody would go there except for one guy.

But the reality on this is that someone who looks at Tubby and ranks him as an F, and ranks Gillispie as anything higher, is not looking objectively. Even for someone who does not credit Smith with the final four/NC in '98, since it was "Pitino's players" or better yet, "Pitino's players who stopped listening to Tubby and started playing Pitino ball and that's when they started winning," , even then, looking at the numerous elite eights, SEC regular season championships, SEC tourney championships, the next 7 years were fantastic. Up through the last two seasons when he basically stopped recruiting, Tubby was excellent. 02-03, 03-04, 04-05 were amazing seasons.

Gillispie's first season was fun. His second season had some fun. Beating WVU in Vegas was a lot of fun. But he had no consistency. And he was spiraling. Had no good players coming in. Vinnie Zollo? And we were hoping for Hunter (I forget his last name). Matt Pilgrim looked good. But he had a lot of baggage. And sitting Meeks for scoring too much and keeping us in the game against Notre Dame? Gillispie was a train wreck.

Rupp A to A+ 43 years of really good ball to great ball at times.

Hall A- to B+ Several really good years, a few bad years. Odd player rotations. Pulled hot shooters his whole career.

Sutton C Just left things in a bad place and under preformed.

Pitino A I would give him a B for leaving but just could not do it.

Tubby B- Did great with Pitino guys. Did not recruit well. Coached fairly well but hated the style.

BCG F- Nothing to say here. Just plain awful idiot. Should have been in rehab his whole time here.

CAL C Cal is all talk. He is like a politician. He thinks just because he says something we all should follow. I swear if you look at the body of work he should have won more games that he has. He has underwhelmed. Full of Crap.
