The bill died in committee without a vote. Apparently the lawmaker wasn't aware that it's not really a "lifetime contract" when he came up with the bill.

Calipari need to start winning. I feel like we are in reboot mode post Billy G, not as bad but bad enough it's time to get the program re charged moving in the right direction again, tired of not being in the conversation as the elite. We all know how tough it is and parity is at a all time high where anything can happen but this is Kentucky basketball, no excuse to not be leading the pack....

How does a legislator think they can determine the sort of contracts private businesses can offer, anyway?

Ah, I see. I thought the bill applied to all lifetime contracts.

Still stupid, performative nonsense, but at least that makes sense.

Sure it make sense. It’s called a publicity stunt. Politicians try to ride the wave of popular opinion all the time. Aimed at getting votes, not making a change.

I read that Bill Self has scheduled a presser for 11am.

                Hmmmm?
