    Think Payne keeps his job?
I think he gets one more and it needs to be above .500. 20-10 wouldn't be good enough but would inspire hope for a critical year 3.

Die hard Louisville fans make every excuse for him and yes he took over a bad situation but still, 4-28 is out of your league coaching. Rick took over a Kentucky program and we took losses but the potential and hope factor was there. If you are a Louisville fan this year, did you ever really get the feeling of HOPE in the near future??

      Better them than us....

I almost guarantee they give him another year. No inside info. But I’d bet on it. But either way…I hope they go 3-29 next year. Or worse.

I like Kenny Payne. He will run a clean program and I wish him the best. But, he inherited a bad situation and even Pitino would take at least 2 years to recover. I think he'll be back. I'm surprised with Manning on his staff, that they are having trouble getting good recruits.

File this under scuttlebutt, but Matt Jones suggests that Will Wade to WKU.

            LOL.

Surprised he didn't get a 'show cause' penalty from his antics at LSU. If true, then, crime really does pay.

Google tells me he's mentioned as a candidate at McNeese St. ?? DIdn't do extensive research but saw no mention of a 'show cause'; guess he's on the market.
