Game should not have been close. Even with me playing point guard I could have got the ball to Oscar. Why didn’t our guys get the ball to him??

He was up at the free throw line on most possessions. I can only recall one time where they just didn't get the ball into him when he was down there and posted, and that was Reeves.

I just don't think he was down there enough. I realize we've been better when Oscar is away from the basket because that's given Toppin and Livingston more room to work. But Toppin was really backed-down in that game last night and Vandy was so small they basically just had to foul Oscar when he got it there.

Believe it was more coach than players. Cal loses his mind in some games and that was one.

Well to be fair, Cal was so tired he couldn’t do his post game show in its entirety so maybe he was tired during the game also and not capable of making good decisions 😊

I’m tired as well. Can I complete part of my shift tonight and still be paid for all of it?

Why have Reeves shoot that last shot? Why was Toppin out of the picture by throwing the ball in? Where was Livingston in the plan? He was 3-7 from the field. Either one could have taken that shot, and considering the game Reeves had, had a better chance of hitting it. That was Cal's call.

Cal doesn’t understand basic statistics. He thinks a 40% shooter is definitely going to hit if they’ve missed a bunch so far in the game.

See year 1 vs WVU, and every other Cal game where a shooter was in a slump and they took the (non) game winner.

The final play was drawn up and run about as well as you could hope. We went full court in 2 seconds and our best outside shooter had a wide open three pointer for the win.

In a game full of poor coaching by Cal, I was actually surprised at how cleanly that final play was run.

He was cold all night, but an open Reeves three is the first shot I'd choose after Oscar in the paint.

I was going to watch the last play again but the DVR time ran out with about a minute left. We've ran that play before and sure Reeves was due and if he had hit that shot we would all be happy. GO CATS!!!

They got a great shot with our best shooter. There were some pretty weird strategy things going on in that game but IMO the last play wasn't one of them. That play was actually one of the best they've run all year. I couldn't believe he got that shot.
