UK somehow remains ranked in the coaches poll at #25, falls out of the top 25 to 29 in the AP, and is at in the NET ranking.

We've got quite a few quad 1 games remaining, and it's critical for UK to piece together some wins at this point. It's going to be a tough task but the opportunities still lie ahead for this group.

Here's hoping they can use the effort in the UL game and continue to improve. We certainly don't want a 8 seed or worse.

Hard to understand how the polls work. Missouri jumped 12 spots by beating us on their home court but we dropped 10 spots for losing.

Have to find a way to protect the home court. I just don't think this team has enough firepower to win tough road games.

This game tomorrow night isn't a must-win...but man it's close.

It’s January 2nd and UK has no quality wins to date. It’s a must win if you aren’t expecting a drastic improvement or UK to go in and steal a big road win.

I think LSU will give us fits tomorrow. They are going to try to take away Oscar and (Jacob (which is easy most games)) and make our other guys beat us (yes you read that right beat us because they are not beating others). Cason will get his but if LSU succeeds they will win by 10+. Hoping we will start to figure things out but no much confidence at this point.

I agree Pobilly. LSU is going to be (well, is already, actually) a well-coached team. This is going to be a tough game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, I think we are like 4-17 against the last top 25 teams we have faced, we have to earn our way back to top 25 and elite status, especially after the worst season in UK history followed by a 1st round loss to a JV team no one will ever hear from again....

I don't know about 4-17 but it looks like we're 4-8 against the top 25 the last two seasons.
