    Call in show tonight

Really bizarre tonight. I actually heard the UK basketball coach say it didn't matter that UK lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament TWICE. Then Barnhart comes on and says it DOES matter and thatUK is about winning SEC and national championships . What in the world is going on up there, has Cal lost his mind.

Caliparis book (or one of them) states plainly he doesnt think it's about championships, or fans, or school legacy.

It's about the success of the individual player. Remember when it wasnt about the name on the back, it was the name of the school? Caliparis stated philosophy is the reverse.

I think Mitch is so upset he would open up beer concessions to offset the 44 million Calipari buyout.

The Mitch Barnhart comments are more interesting than anything Cal said, imo.

Doesn't sound like Mitch and Cal are on the same page about what the expectations are for Kentucky basketball

I didn't listen but I did see multiple people tweeting about it. I didn't see any of them mention Cal saying the thing about the loss not mattering. But of course if you don't actually hear the thing then you can't speak on it, so I hesitate to say too much about what Cal did or didn't say. Personally I just wasn't that interested in listening.

I think what you get in these end-of-season autopsies that always happen after devastating losses is virtually lip service anyway. I mean what is Calipari or Barnhart for that matter really going to say to appease fans at this point? In those tweets from UK writers I saw that Cal said the loss was unacceptable several times and that he was devastated by it. Of course he is as he should be...but what fans really want to know is what he's going to do about it. That's a much harder question and no coach sitting there on March 21st can really answer it.

I am interested in who is coming back. BTW, A&M is still alive in the NIT. Happy for them. Vandy lost to Xavier last night. No more looking at Scotty Pippin more than the game.

Good for A&M...they should have been in the NCAA tourney

I agreed with you on selection Sunday, True. But now I’m convinced the SEC wasn’t as good as touted all season and didn’t earn any more bids than it got.

Perhaps A&M should have gotten an invitation to the Big Dance instead of some of the SEC teams that did get one.

                    I guarantee they would've beaten St. Peter's.

Perhaps so MD. May have been more deserving than LSU. But if you go 9-9 in conference you better have a marquee victory somewhere along the way. Like Bama beating Gonzaga. A&M played no one out of conference.

Off subject comment—UK was undefeated in Rupp this season. What the…?

The Aggies did beat Notre Dame. Not a unbelievable win but a team that did well in the ACC and also beat UK.

Aggies had no problem with Wake Forrest last night.

They're playing with a huge chip on their shoulders.
