TBS is doing "homer" broadcasts of Saturdays games again

Dave Baker (Good) and Rex Chapman (Horrible) are calling our game on the "team-centric" broadcast. I'm sorry, I absolutely cannot listen to Rex Chapman. I had to switch back to the main network last time, after only 5 minutes. He is AWFUL. I can't believe they're using him again. I think we need a UK fan petition to use Kyle Macy, or Sam Bowie, or the Easter Bunny...anyone but Rex.

Its a huge disappointment and an embarrasment who they have representing Kentucky. Dave Baker is the PBP announcer. He's fine and I expected he may do it. But the analyst is none other than Rex "IPhone" Chapman. Not only did he embarrass himself by tweeting stupidity before last years final game but he was caught red handed stealing I-Phones and other stuff from retail stores. Really, really stupid of Turner/CBS/NCAA for having him do this game. Suffice it to say I won't be watching or recording that on Saturday night. Thank goodness Raferty is doing the national telecast.

CBS Sports and Turner Sports will provide exclusive coverage of the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship from Indianapolis with Duke, Kentucky, Michigan State and Wisconsin competing for the national championship.  TBS will televise the NCAA Final Four National Semifinal games on Saturday, April 4, with game coverage beginning at 6 p.m.

Very surprising that they'd go this direction. Would imagine Turner will be bombarded with responses for the next few days.

^ I really wonder if they did any research to see what Chapman has been into since last year. From his tweets, to stealing, to admiting he was addicted to pain killers. You really wonder what Turner was thinking. Just really disappointing. I really can't see many UK fans turning in to hear him after all of this has gone on.

I won't lie about feeling that some of the life was sucked out of the evening when Chapman tweeted his "Cal to the Lakers" nonsense. Couple that with his personal problems and overall weirdness, and, well...I'm not impressed with their choice, and I won't be listening.

Chapman's comments might be why they asked him back.

You know a lot of folks tuned in to that broadcast to hear if he said anything else about Cal or the Lakers. The tweet came literally minutes before tip-off, and in hindsight it was pretty clearly a hoax to draw in viewers.

Turner's logic here might be that people will watch this just to see if Chapman says anything crazy.

What they don't seem to understand is how UK fans think. Chapman burned a lot of bridges and UK fans tend to not forgive or forget.

Didn't Chapman tweet that before final? He did the semi's before he tweeted that.

Love Baker. Shame about Chapman. BTW, what's happened to Macy? I haven't exactly missed him, but better than Chapman, with or w/out the tweets and I Phones.

I am glad that I never caught doing some of the things that I did.
I bet you guys worked in homeless shelters, feed the hungry and went to church every day of the week when you were growing up.

I'm not ready to give him a second chance after that "Cal to Lakers done deal" crap.
