We only had one "one-and-done" player this year, and he's not even surefire.

Duke is going to win the title, and they've got about four one-and-dones.

Duke could have 2 NCAA's in 7 years, 3 in 12 years, 4 in 21 years
Kansas could have 2 NCAA's in 14 years
UNC could have 4 NCAA's in 16 years

Since Cal has been here

Kansas has been more consistent and could win one this year.

Somehow it makes it worse that we absolutely crushed two of the Final Four teams this season. It shows how much promise was left unfulfilled. Also shows what a horrendous coaching job we saw at the end of the season.

Nothing will change because Cal has no incentive to change and Mitch has 50 million reasons to let things ride. Maybe an empty Rupp next year will send a message.
