2nd #3: Purdue

No, not with our Quad 1 wins. Also the thumping at Kansas still carries a lot of weight.

Obviously we don't look like the same team now, which is what so many of us feared. Only chance we have in this tournament is if we find some of that January magic.

I just don't see selection committee lowering Duke to a #3. I agree that they should but just don' see it happening.

Will Texas A&M get in if they lose today big. I think they should no matter the outcome today.

What teams will you not be happy about if they fall in UK's bracket? I do not want to see Purdue as a #3 seed in that bracket. I just don't like the matchup. Indiana in a second round match up in Indianapolis. I think Texas Tech would give us fits. Michigan State-reminders of some heart breakers and Izzo gets in done in March, A hot Va Tech team that is full of confidence while we are ytying to regain our mojo.

I think Purdue will be no lower than a 2 seed.
Just watched them lose to Iowa so a three may be correct.

Everything I've read, and heard, down through the years leads me to believe that what happens in conference tournament finals, on Sunday, has little or no bearing on seeding.

Duke and UNC will get their NCAA favorite spots. Will play close to home and have easy brackets. GO CATS!!!

Tennessee is a 3 seed. I guess the SEC isn’t that good after all. Duke must have played a tougher schedule in that brutal ACC.

Having said that, I don’t know who we’d put on Ivey if we run into Purdue. Toppin, I guess, but that’s be a concerning matchup.

Purdue hasn't been playing great down the stretch and they collapse defensively too often. They also have a POY type guy who can take over games single handedly.

So they're basically us.

Overall, I like our draw a lot. Theres nobody in our region that I think we match up terribly with.

I’ve feared Purdue all year and, just like magic, there they are in front of us. Don’t love that matchup at all because they’ll be able to negate Oscar.

Also that Murray game is just loaded with symbolism for them. Sure, you have to win games like that if you want to win titles, but man nobody else in the field has a second round game like that. Don’t love it if I’m being honest.
