I checked the score a couple of times on the internet. Couldn't watch it, I'm still chapped after yesterday.

UT's probably playing about as well as any other team right now and I still think we should have come in ready to beat them convincingly. Ugh!

I was so disappointed with our lack of intensity and desire to win, but I was more disappointed in our Coach.

I'm sure you saw his lack of trying to coach and fell into a yelling tirade at every mistake a player made, and his fit he threw when Oscar got his 5th foul. As a former coach and referee, I was embarrassed.

Cal and Shows have a complicated history so that reaction has some backstory.

Generally I thought the officiating was pretty decent yesterday. However the fifth on Oscar looked like a really bad call. But it didn’t have much bearing on the outcome of the game.

I didn’t really notice Cal yelling any more yesterday than he generally does, but then again it was a stressful game so it was hard to pay much attention.

This is from Cal post Tennessee loss.
Someone please explain to me his last sentence in the article. What does that have to do with a win or loss?

"You know, I was trying to keep our team focused on our little pocket there, but I thought we played well enough (to get a 1 seed), Calipari said. "We hit a hot team in Tennessee. We didn’t do a shootaround. We’ve done it all year. And we don’t go shoot around. A lot of it was Tennessee. Rick Barnes is a close friend.

He usually mentions that regardless of the question at hand. It's Calipari...he always tries to command the narrative.

I saw the interview where this quote comes from last night. It sounded like Cal was just spitballing, basically answering one question with ten different answers. In print it looks weird but live I didn't even pick up on it when I listened to it.

Cal goes stream-of-consciousness in basically every interview he gives.
